Music Transcription

Music transcription is the process of turning a piece of music into a written, notated form. I take the audio that you composed and notate it into beautiful sheet music. After that, you can take your sheet music and do with it what you please.

Here's the process:

1. You write the song. Any instrument, any genre.

2. Record yourself playing your song. Ideally, this should be a video recording where your fingers and/or your instrument are clearly visible. Audio recordings are also acceptable. The better the recording the faster I will be able to process the recording (which saves you money).

3. Fill out the form below. Tell me the length of the piece, how many and what kind of instruments are in the piece, and the approximate tempo.  I'll email you with a quote, approximate time frame, and a request for the recording.

4. Send me the recording and wait for the magic to happen. I'll give you regular updates on the progress of your project. Keep a watch for my emails; I may send you questions that are necessary for me to finish the project.

5. Once I've finished the transcription, I'll send you a Venmo request. Once you complete the Venmo request I will send you the completed files. I can send both pdf and sib files.

Congratulations! You now have a professional, written rendition of your work. What now? You own the Copywrite, so it's completely up to you.
